Dhirubhai Ambani University — known for two decades as DA-IICT — was established in 2001 by the Reliance-backed Dhirubhai Ambani Foundation and is Gujarat's best-regarded institution for information and communication technology. The campus stands near Indroda Circle on the southern edge of Gandhinagar.
