About Gujarat University
Gujarat University, established in 1949, is one of the oldest and largest universities in Gujarat. Its Navrangpura campus anchors Ahmedabad's main education corridor — the same University Road stretch is home to LD College of Engineering, St Xavier's College, CEPT University and the H.K. and GLS college clusters, which is why the surrounding localities have the city's densest concentration of student PGs.
